Window/Windowless Sampling & Dynamic Probing
This is carried out using small versatile track mounted rigs. They are used for a range of sampling methods to include window/windowless sampling/dynamic probing and shallow site investigations.
They are easy to transport and simple to manoeuvre over soft ground and through tight spaces, causing very little disturbance to it’s surroundings.
On request we can provide:
- Tarpaulin (to minimise mess)
- Breaker and generator
- Well Install materials

Cable Percussion
Cable percussion (shell and auger) is the most common drilling method used for geotechnical site or ground investigations in the UK.
We have a variety of Light Cable percussive drilling rigs to offer from the Dando and Pilcon range, including a modular rig for use where access or headroom is restricted. See our equipment page for more information on specific machines.All our rigs have a full LOLER certification. All SPT equipment is calibrated annually.
Our crews are fully trained with Lead Drillers being NVQ Level 2 qualified and all drilling assistants hold CSCS cards and have completed the CITB health and safety awareness training.

Modular Cable Percussion
This rig is a compact and flexible rig capable of operating in small spaces and hard to reach areas. It can be completely stripped down meaning it can fit through a standard doorway and in areas where headroom is restricted to a minimum of 2.6m.

Pit Digging
Pit digging is a quick, easy manual investigave method to assess ground conditions, obtain near surface soils, expose foundations and locate underground services.
All our crews are equipped with a breaker, generator, insulated tools and reinstatement materials.
